A very normal day
So instead of talking about everything that I’ve done the last few weeks I thought I could just start a fresh sheet and tell you about a very normal day in my life here in beautiful Innsbruck. This particular day was a Tuesday and the sun was painting the mountains crystal white. The flowers have started to pop up in the south facing gardens and it really feels like spring is on its way, although we don’t really want that, not yet at least. So anyways, the flowers, the sun and the birds made me want to go for a little day touring trip around our local resort Axamer Lizum. There’s some really amazing terrain there and a lot of chutes, colouirs and cliffs that we’ve been hungrily adding to the hit list throughout the season.
Just from the top of the lift in Axamer Lizum you can see an obvious ridge and that’s where we started hiking to. From there you can pick your own little colouir and when you’ll get down you have a whole new bowl to pick lines from.

After these warm up runs we started touring up on the other side. I was swearing a lot while touring because my skins are a little bit too small for my skis. It's a shame when your energy is being wasted to take two steps forward and slide one back.

After this tour we came into the backside bowl, we namned it colouir city! So many options and lines to tick of there in spring.

So after this much touring and skiing we totally felt like we deserved some frog, mouse and clown cake! The normal Austrian après ski snack.

And in the end of a day like this, there's one thing that bothers me. It’s a tiny little annoying thing that just won’t go away, I’m growing a sixth toe. So here's a gross photo of that!
