UK Indoor Slope Opening Details
As most people are looking to spend more time out of the fridge post-lockdown, skiers in the UK are looking forward to spending more time inside them. First, it was the dry-slopes, but now it is time for the indoor slopes to start reopening. For those of you who aren't making a trip to a glacier this summer, indoor slopes are the closest you'll get to the real deal before next winter.
We have also featured three of our favourite indoor stops from the Planks Grassroots Tour over the last three years. We hope these will get you fired up to get back inside your favourite fridge soon.

Here are our favourite stops from the Planks Grassroots Tour over the last three years.
To kick things off, we've got Chill Factore in Manchester from 2018. This is the UK's longest real snow slope and it is just 20 minutes away from Planks Clothing's head quarters.
Next up, we've got SnowDome Tamworth from last year's Planks Grassroots Tour. This was one of the biggest turnouts we'd ever had for a Grassroots event, with over one hundred competitors. The SnowDome is the UK's oldest real snow slope, known for its rope tow with super speedy rail laps.
Finally, we've got last year's stop at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, London's closest real snow slope. For the last three years, The Snow Centre has been the penultimate stop of the tour, before the final at the Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Festival.
We hope this has you fired up and your first session back is a blast...
