Read moreOur gear is crafted for life in the mountains. Here's the low-down on the Planks fit.
Jackets - Our women’s jackets have a relaxed fit. The Roamer Jacket is the most relaxed of them all, providing a proper freeride funk-a-fusion. The Overstoke Anorak and All-Time Jacket sit in the middle of the spectrum, while the Huff ‘n Puffa is our more fitted jacket, due to its slightly cinched waist. Warmth and comfort is paramount, so all of our jackets are designed to accommodate layers. You may find the body length of our jackets to be slightly longer than other jackets you own; the reasoning for this is to ensure your backside is kept covered and warm. There’s nothing worse than a cold, numb bum!
Pants - Our regular fit pants have a slightly relaxed, straight leg fit. They’re designed to allow maximum freedom of movement and to accommodate base-layers for those chillier days. When you first try our pants/bib pants on, they may feel too long. Fear not, our snow pants need to be longer than regular pants as they are worn with ski or snowboard boots. If your pants feel too long, we recommend trying them on with your ski or snowboard boots.
Jackets - The fit of our men's jackets is generally relaxed, but not oversized. You may notice that our jackets are slightly roomier and longer in the body than other brands you’ve come across. The reasoning for this is to allow room for layers for those chilly February sessions. The extra body length works to ensure that your backside is kept covered and warm.
Pants - Our men’s pants have a relaxed, straight leg fit. Technical ski pants are lengthier than regular pants, as they need to cover your ski boots. With this in mind, we recommend trying your pants on with boots.
Prefer a more 'fitted look'? The slim-fit Fun-garee Bib Pant is for you. You'll find that our slim fit products are tighter around the hips, waist and legs. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up in this particular product.
