Whistler Shredding 2013

Hi Guys
I have lately spent two weeks in Whistler skiing at Camp Of Champions and Momentum Ski Camp. I had a great first few days trying my switch double to the air bag and getting used to the feeling of going over twice.
On the forth day I was feeling it and went for the dub, I landed my first hit but on the second I overrated and hurt my calf. This was frustrating as i only had a week and a half left to ski. I decided to take a week off and spent the 7 days playing golf, swimming at the numerous lakes around whistler and watching movies.
My calf was still sore but with acupuncture, stretching and numerous massages i was able to return to snow for the final 2 days. On the second to last day i tried a forwards double cork 1080 but un-fortunitly i was not able to land it. On my last day in whistler I did many Switch Dub 9's. We rushed down the mountain leaving 5 minutes to pack before we had to leave.
I have had a great time in Whistler, and hope I can go back next year. Now it's back to New Zealand for the majority of the southern hemisphere snow season. There I will be training with my little bro Nico and coached by Tommy Pyatt. At the end of the season I'll be competing in the national champs so I'll keep you posted!
